Non proliferation is a term which is apparently defined differently in various parts of the world. The term seems to be missing totally from some counties' lexicon, of course depending on your country's political sway or possibly a corporation's need to make a fast buck, I could certainly see why terms like "Non Proliferation, International Sanctions, Export Controls or International Security" are easily forgotten when there is money to be made or maybe more simply, a friendly country such as Communist China wishes to support their friend and Rouge State, Iran find the tools they need for their massive underground Nuclear Power Project because Iran is selling China the oil it desperately needs. Of course if I were to start a nuclear power project I would most certainly spend billions of dollars constructing my civilian power project underground, below a mountain, and include thousands of centrifuges to process uranium past the point needed for nuclear fuel rods to power a reactor. To produce enriched uranium to a point where it would most certainly meet the criteria for a weapons grade product to arm a fission bomb with.
A recent article written by the Associated Press, ( How Nuclear Equipment Reached Iran) http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/as_taiwan_iran_nuclear tells the twisted tail of 108 nuclear pressure gauges conveniently miss guided to Iran through the finagling of a Chinese company in Shanghai and a company in U.S. friendly Taiwan who facilitated the shipment of these highly valuable items needed by the Iranian nuclear effort. All of this taking place from early January to March of 2009. The Swiss manufacturer of these pressure switches had no idea what was happening with their highly sensitive products shipped to Taiwan. The Taiwanese company and the Chinese company knew where they were headed. Straight to Iran.
It has become apparent to many well informed individuals in the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) and other international watch dog agencies, that Iran is headed for membership in the Nuclear Club. Certainly with help from Taiwanese companies and our "Trading Partners" China, it won't be long before test shots in the Iranian desert will be detected by seismographs worldwide. And as for Taiwan, our "friend?" We might as well bid them good bye and let the Communist Chinese have them without even a passive look over our shoulder. After all they are apparently "two peas in a pod " and work quite well together to undermine world security.
